Welcome to the Peterborough Cycling Club Web Page. On this site we hope to offer both members and other cyclists useful information about the club, its history, riders and events aswell as links to other cycling clubs and other useful sites. We will regularly be posting news of events and results from our own club events and also results from open events that our members have competed in, along with a few photos wherever possible.
Peterborough Cycling Club was formed in 1873 and the club has recently collated a lot of information about the first 25 years of the clubs existence, more details about this can be found on the HISTORY PAGE.
The club caters for all levels of cyclists from beginner through to national champions, whether on a road bike or a mountain bike ( although you won't find too many mountains around Peterborough). Many members from the club are regularly taking part in time trials and road races and we have a full calendar of club events running every Thursday from April through to September. For details of the club events diary see the EVENTS PAGE. Everyone is welcome to take part in our club events as long as they are a member of an affiliated cycling club or a member of the RTTC.
Social events are also held and usually around the Christmas period there is the annual dinner and prize presentation. The club has a committee that meets every month to discuss club issues and any news from these will be published on the NEWS PAGE.
Enjoy the site and come back regularly to see how it has changed there should be more and more added to the site as time goes on, and you never know if competing in an event around here you may find yourself on our PHOTOS PAGE.
